These are pictures made in front of the Fountain Head Post Office possibly on the last day of operation. The post master, ?, is shutting the doors for the last time and locking up.
Dudley Harris and Jim Moore inside the old flour mill that was located on what is now Jackson Street. The mill began in 1892 as a stock company. The flour was called "Royal Gem" in the 1920s.
The crowd is gathered on the east side of the depot or on the backside with the railroad tracks on the other side. One picture is labeled "Boosters for Buxley" but unknown what time period this would be.
